LDI’s mail order program is ideal for maintenance medications - prescriptions you take on a regular basis to manage conditions like arthritis, high blood pressure, asthma, or diabetes. In most cases, LDI can dispense up to a three month supply of your medication at one time, depending on your plan set up. But you can also use mail order for 30 day supplies as well.
By using LDI’s mail service program, you may also save time and money by minimizing trips to a pharmacy and taking advantage of possible lower co-payments through LDI’s own mail order pharmacy.
We pride ourselves on fast and efficient home delivery of your prescriptions. Mail service prescriptions are shipped within 48 hours of receipt. To order your medication online, click here or call us toll free at 1.866.516.1121. You can order your prescriptions 24 hours a day. Just have your prescription refill number(s), your member ID, date of birth, shipping address, and major credit card available.
Ask your doctor for 2 prescriptions; one for a short term supply and 1 for up to a 90-day supply. Have your short term prescription filled immediately at a LDI network pharmacy and send the 90-day supply prescription to LDI along with a completed mail order form. You will receive your prescription within 5 business days after LDI receives your order.

A generic drug is a medication with the same active ingredient(s) as its brand-name counterpart and produces the same effects in the body as a brand-name drug.
In most cases, generic drugs cost less than brand-name drugs. Usually, the lowest co-pay is available when receiving a generic drug resulting in sometimes less than half the price of brand-name co-pays for the same medication depending on your plan.
Your doctor may have checked the box for generic substitution when he/she wrote your prescription, allowing LDI to fill the brand name medication with the generic equivalent.
Your prescription will not be changed without your doctor’s approval. LDI’s health care professionals put the safety and care of our members first. Upon receiving your prescription, in some cases LDI may contact your doctor to consider a generic equivalent in place of your original prescription.
Bring a copy of LDI’s Preferred Drug Formulary to your doctor to discuss drug equivalent generic or preferred drugs that could be used in place of your prescribed drug not on the Preferred Drug Formulary. Generic medications should always be considered the first line of prescribing since they are cost effective and tested to have the same quality, strength, purity and stability as brand-name medications.
